Between the Short Story and the Work of Art sits the Best Seller: four and a half inches, a 55 ring at the belly and the unmistakable Hemingway curve. It takes its name, like its siblings, from the writer's world of books and stories. At our Downtown Dubai cigar house it is a natural choice among the premium cigars in Dubai for anyone who wants a short perfecto with weight.
Profile: Medium to full strength
Flavour Notes: A savoury, meaty depth, cappuccino, wood and a mineral, copper-like edge.
How It Smokes: The closed foot gives a concentrated, toasty start before the Best Seller widens out. The first third opens on wood with a savoury depth close to grilled meat. Through the middle, a rounder cappuccino note joins in, creamy rather than sweet. In our reading the final third turns firmer, with wood and a mineral, copper-like edge on the finish. The broad belly keeps the smoke full while the short length keeps the session compact.
Blend Details: A Cameroon wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, hand-rolled by Arturo Fuente in the Dominican Republic as one of eight shapes in the Hemingway perfecto line.
