Four inches, a rounded perfecto foot and a 49 ring at its widest: the Short Story packs the Hemingway style into a cigar that fits a coffee break. It is proof that the hardest shapes to roll are often the smallest. Among the premium cigars in Dubai we hold at our Downtown Dubai cigar house, it is the Fuente we suggest when time is short but the evening still deserves a proper cigar.
Profile: Medium to full strength
Flavour Notes: Sweet spice, walnut and cocoa.
How It Smokes: The first puffs through the closed foot come quickly and concentrated, then the Short Story opens into a sweet, spiced character carried by the Cameroon leaf. Through the middle, walnut steps forward and the texture turns creamy. In our reading the final third leans into cocoa, the spice lingering at the back of the palate. Its compact frame means the flavour evolves fast, so a measured pace keeps it cool.
Blend Details: A Cameroon wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, hand-shaped by Arturo Fuente in the Dominican Republic as part of the Hemingway perfecto line that Carlito Fuente revived in the 1980s.
