The Brizard and Co. Double Guillotine II in Whisky Calf and White is a twin-blade cutter for a straight cut, with stainless steel blades set in a whisky calf leather wrap with white trim. Whisky-toned calf leather is set against crisp white trim, a lighter, summer-minded pairing that suits bright Dubai afternoons. At our Downtown Dubai cigar house we keep it in mind for cigars that have rested well in a humidor through the Gulf heat: a clean, even cut protects a wrapper that has been looked after.
Details: The two self-sharpening blades close from both sides at once, meeting in the centre of the cap so the cut stays level instead of tearing the leaf. The body is finished by hand, which gives a sure grip in the fingers. It is for the smoker who cuts every cigar the same way and wants the tool to feel as considered as the cigar.
