The OpusX "Les Chaînes de l'Amour" Travel Case in Red is a three-house collaboration between Brizard & Co., Arturo Fuente and Maccarrone, made to be carried, displayed and kept. It is a collectible design object first and a luxury travel case second.
The edition is limited to 333 numbered pieces in Red, and each case carries an individually numbered plate on its base. This listing is the case on its own, without cigars.
The lid is signature Maccarrone marquetry, the work of a fifth-generation master of the tradition: hundreds of hand-cut wood elements assembled into one continuous pattern and finished to a deep, even sheen. Brizard & Co. builds the case around it, and the OpusX visual language ties the piece together. Inside, three compartments hold each cigar apart under a snug-fitting lid, and the matching pouch protects the marquetry in transit.
Habanora is the exclusive distributor of the OpusX Project humidors and cigar cases, the collaboration of Arturo Fuente, Brizard & Co. and Maccarrone. The Red edition is held in a small allocation and is not restocked once the colour is gone.
Five generations of Maccarrone marquetry, Brizard & Co. materials and finishing, and the OpusX design signature meet in one numbered object. It is a natural centrepiece for a collection and a considered gift for an anniversary, a milestone or a retirement.
A hard-sided case built and finished by Brizard & Co., with a lid of Maccarrone marquetry, a hand-assembled inlay of cut wood.
333 numbered pieces in Red. Every case carries its number on a plate on the base.
No, this is the case only. The same case is also offered with three colour-matched Arturo Fuente OpusX Double Robusto cigars as the Les Chaînes de l'Amour Cigar Case with three OpusX cigars.
A matching protective pouch and a matching keychain.
Wipe the lid with a soft dry cloth, keep the case out of direct sunlight and away from prolonged damp, and store it in its pouch when it is not on display.
