Slim and quick, the Exquisitos is a 126 mm Seoane from Cohiba's Línea Clásica, built for a shorter break without stepping away from the brand's character. We keep it in boxes of 25 and 5 at our boutique, one of the more approachable doors into Cohiba among premium cigars in Dubai.
Profile: Medium to full (Habanos rating: Medium to Full)
Flavour Notes: Hay, honey, cedar, caramel, toast, cappuccino, coffee, dark cocoa and nut (Cigar Inspector); earth, walnut and balsamic herbs (Cigars Lover).
How It Smokes: The first third opens on hay and honey with cedar, a little caramel toast and a faint saline edge. In the middle, toast and field notes return, sweetness comes and goes, and a creamy cappuccino tone settles in over earth and a background of walnut. The final third turns to coffee and dark cocoa before a nutty wave, with balsamic herbs on the close. Reviewers report an open draw and a slow, even burn for the size, though the grey ash tends to fall early.
Blend Details: Cohiba is rolled by hand at the El Laguito factory in Havana, with leaves drawn from vegas in San Juan y Martínez and San Luis in Vuelta Abajo, Pinar del Río. It is the only Habanos brand in which the seco and ligero leaves go through an additional fermentation. For a 33 ring, reviewers find it carries more strength than its size suggests.
