The E.P. Carrillo Endure Robusto opened the Perez-Carrillo Premier Collection, and it does so with a rare leaf: a Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan core. For those exploring E.P. Carrillo cigars in Dubai, this 5 x 50 box-pressed Robusto is a concentrated way to meet the blend.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Spice, leather, chocolate, vanilla, oak, cedar and pepper.
Ours starts with a warm spice and cedar that the Cameroon leaf is known for, dry and fine-grained on the palate. In the middle, leather and dark chocolate step forward, and a thread of vanilla softens the edges. The box press gives a firm, even feel in the hand and a draw that stays dense. Oak and pepper gather in the last third for a long, layered finish. A compact Robusto with the full depth of the blend, suited to a focused hour.
Endure is the first release in the Perez-Carrillo Premier Collection. The wrapper is a Cameroon leaf sourced from Meerapfel, prized and seldom seen, laid over a binder of Nicaraguan Habano and Criollo 98 and a filler blended from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa. Each cigar is handmade in the Dominican Republic and finished with a clean box press. Discover more of the house in our E.P. Carrillo collection.
