The E.P. Carrillo INCH Maduro No. 62 puts a 62 ring into a shorter 5 inch length, the Short Gordo of the INCH Maduro line. For those who want E.P. Carrillo cigars in Dubai with maximum girth and a quicker sitting, its dark Broadleaf Maduro wrapper delivers bold flavour in a compact format.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Sweet earth, cocoa, espresso, cedar and spice.
Ours is rich and oily from the very first draw, cocoa and sweet earth arriving together. The short length brings the middle third in quickly, where espresso takes the lead, dense and dark. The wide ring keeps the smoke thick and cool in spite of the shorter body. Cedar and a steady spice close it out, full and lingering on the palate. A concentrated maduro for when time is shorter but the appetite for depth is not.
INCH is Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's large-format line, and every size in it carries a ring gauge of at least one full inch, 60 or more. The Maduro version wraps a dark, oily USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro leaf around a Nicaraguan binder and a filler of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco, rolled in the Dominican Republic. The No. 62 condenses that blend into a wide, short format. See every size in our E.P. Carrillo collection.
