The E.P. Carrillo INCH Natural No. 60 is the 5 7/8 x 60 Gordo of the INCH Natural line, wrapped in an oily Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf. Among the Dominican cigars we keep in Downtown Dubai, it is a large-format natural with real presence and a long, generous draw.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Leather, earth, coffee bean, cedar and a creamy spice.
Ours opens on leather and a dry earth, the Sumatra wrapper adding an oily sheen to the texture of the smoke. The 60 ring keeps the draw broad and cool. Coffee bean comes through in the middle third, roasted and clean, with cedar alongside. Toward the finish a creamy spice builds, rounded rather than sharp, and stays with the last third. A natural with weight and composure, in a balanced size.
Ernesto Perez-Carrillo built the INCH line around big ring gauges: every size measures at least one inch across, a 60 ring or more. The Natural version dresses an oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a filler of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, rolled in the Dominican Republic. The No. 60 is the Gordo, the line's starting proportion. Browse the house in our E.P. Carrillo collection.
