The E.P. Carrillo INCH Natural No. 64 is a statement natural: a 6 1/8 x 64 Super Gordo under an oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. Among the E.P. Carrillo cigars in our Dubai humidor, it is one of the widest naturals we hold, made for a long and luxurious sitting.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Leather, earth, coffee bean, cedar and a creamy spice.
Ours begins with soft leather and earth, carried on a deep, cool volume of smoke through the 64 ring. The length gives the first third time to settle before coffee bean emerges in the middle, roasted and full. Cedar holds the centre of the cigar steady and dry. In the last third the creamy spice grows, smooth and warm, and lingers well after each draw. A broad, composed natural for an evening with room to spare.
Ernesto Perez-Carrillo built the INCH line around big ring gauges: every size measures at least one inch across, a 60 ring or more. The Natural version dresses an oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a filler of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, rolled in the Dominican Republic. The No. 64 Super Gordo gives the wrapper an especially generous surface. Browse the house in our E.P. Carrillo collection.
