The E.P. Carrillo INCH Nicaragua No. 60 is a large-format Nicaraguan puro, a 5 7/8 x 60 Gordo in a rich Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Among the Nicaraguan cigars we keep in Downtown Dubai, it is a full-bodied choice with serious size and a bold, layered character.
Profile: Full
Flavour Notes: Spice, earth, pepper, cedar and a subtle sweetness.
Ours opens with spice and earth, assertive from the first draw, the Habano leaf giving the smoke a firm grip. The 60 ring keeps it cool and full. Through the middle third cedar comes forward, and black pepper sharpens the edges. Underneath the strength a subtle sweetness appears, softening the profile as the cigar goes on. The finish is long, peppery and woody. A full-bodied puro with depth and structure, in a balanced size.
Every size in Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's INCH line is at least one inch across, a ring of 60 or more. The Nicaragua version is a Nicaraguan puro: Nicaraguan Habano for both wrapper and binder, with filler from Estelí, Condega and Jalapa, rolled in the Dominican Republic. The No. 60 is the Gordo, the first size in the line. See the full house range in our E.P. Carrillo collection.
