The New Wave Reserva Robusto is the compact way into a lesser-known E.P. Carrillo blend, one that began as a European release. It sits with the premium cigars in Dubai at our Downtown Dubai cigar house as a light-wrapped robusto with a darker binder inside.
Profile: Medium-bodied, per release coverage. No strength rating is published.
Flavour Notes: Not published by the maker.
How It Smokes: Tasting notes for New Wave Reserva have not been published by E.P. Carrillo, and release coverage only calls it medium-bodied, so we do not write flavours for it here. In construction it is a classic robusto: an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper outside, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder inside, and Nicaraguan and Dominican filler at the core. Ask our team at the boutique and we will share how it smokes for us.
Blend Details: New Wave Reserva launched first in Europe before reaching the United States, and it differs from New Wave Connecticut in its binder: a Connecticut Broadleaf leaf under the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, with Nicaraguan and Dominican filler. It is made in the Dominican Republic.
