The El Septimo Kolosso White is a vintage Gordo from the Costa Rican house, rolled in its earlier years and rested for a long time before it reached our humidor in Downtown Dubai. For anyone looking for El Septimo cigars in Dubai, it is a characterful way into the house: a wide 60 ring, a medium body and the long-aged tobacco El Septimo is known for.

Flavour Notes: Almond and mixed nuts, white chocolate, soft leather, a light floral note and a sweetness that builds toward the end.
Ours opens on toasted almond and a dry, nutty sweetness, more pastry shop than humidor. Through the middle the white chocolate comes forward and a soft leather settles underneath it, never heavy, never sharp. The wide ring keeps the smoke cool and generous for well over an hour. In the last third a faint floral note lifts the whole thing, and the sweetness rises rather than fades, which is the part we remember most.
El Septimo grows and ages its own tobacco on high-elevation farms in Costa Rica and keeps the leaf recipe private. The house does not publish the wrapper, binder or filler of the Kolosso White, so we describe it by how it smokes rather than by leaves we cannot confirm.
