Under an oily Criollo 98 wrapper, this one is a 6 x 58 grand format with a wide ring and a long, slow burn, and a quiet favourite in our Downtown Dubai humidor.

Size: 6 x 58

Shape: Hedonism Grand Rothschild

Wrapper: Dominican Criollo 98

Binder: Dominican Olor

Filler: Dominican, aged 15 years

Country of Origin: Dominican Republic

Profile: Medium to Full

How It Smokes

Gurkha calls the Cellar Reserve full of flavour and complexity without itemising the notes, and ours lives up to the description in its texture first. The oily Criollo 98 wrapper gives a rich, slightly glossy start, and the fifteen-year Dominican filler brings a depth that only long ageing seems to produce. By the middle third the body has built to medium to full, layered rather than sharp, and it holds there steadily. The finish is long and composed, the reason this line keeps its place on our shelves.

Blend Details

A Dominican Criollo 98 wrapper covers an aged Dominican Olor binder and a Dominican filler aged for fifteen years.
