The Gurkha Cellar Reserve Edición Especial 18 Year Hedonism Grand Rothschild takes the Cellar Reserve idea further, with a Corojo wrapper and tobacco aged for eighteen years, presented in a piano-finish mahogany box. This one is a 6 x 58 grand format with a wide ring and a long, slow burn, and one of the most patient cigars in our Downtown Dubai humidor.
Profile: Medium
Gurkha describes the Edición Especial as medium in body and full in flavour, and ours keeps that balance from start to finish. The Corojo wrapper gives an assertive first impression, then the eighteen-year Dominican tobacco takes over with a mellowness that only long ageing brings. Through the middle the flavour stays full while the body never tips into heavy, which makes it easy to stay with for the whole length. It is a cigar for marking something, and the box alone tells you so.
A Corojo wrapper covers a Dominican binder and a Dominican filler aged for eighteen years. The cigar is made in the Dominican Republic, rated medium in strength by the maker, and packed in a piano-finish mahogany box.
