The Gurkha Grand Reserve Torpedo Natural brings Gurkha's cognac-infused flagship to a tapered 6.25 x 52, in a five-year Connecticut Shade wrapper and a glass tube. Among the infused Gurkha cigars in Dubai it is the shaped option for those who enjoy a pointed head.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Cognac infusion over aged Dominican tobacco.
Ours benefits from the tapered head, which gathers the smoke and makes the cognac sweetness on the lips feel more precise. The opening third is smooth and aromatic. Through the middle the aged Dominican filler grows more present and the cigar gains body. The burn stays straight under the silky wrapper. As the smoke widens toward the 52 ring, the last third becomes fuller and warmer, finishing medium to full.
Gurkha calls the Grand Reserve its flagship: a cognac-infused cigar with a silky Connecticut Shade wrapper aged five years over a Dominican binder and filler aged three years, made in the Dominican Republic and presented in a glass tube. It comes as Corona, Robusto, Torpedo and Churchill, all in a natural wrapper.
