The Gurkha Royal Reserve takes the idea behind Gurkha's cognac-infused Grand Reserve and goes further: it is infused three times, for a more intense cognac character. A 6.25 x 52 Toro from the Dominican Republic, it is one of the ultra-premium Gurkha cigars in Dubai.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Triple cognac infusion for an intense cognac flavour and aroma.
Ours announces the cognac before it is lit, with a deep, rounded aroma that fills the room as the cigar is cut. The first third is the most intense, sweet on the lips and fragrant in the smoke. Through the middle the tobacco slowly finds its voice beneath the infusion and the body builds toward medium to full. The burn is even and the draw generous. Even in the final third the cognac never fully leaves, which is exactly the point.
Gurkha triple-infuses the Royal Reserve with cognac, where the Grand Reserve is infused once. The blend itself is proprietary. It is made in the Dominican Republic, rated medium to full, and presented as a 6.25 x 52.
