The Gurkha Year of the Snake by Oscar Valladares is the Honduran chapter of Gurkha's limited Year of the Snake collection, made by Oscar Valladares Tobacco and Co. A 6 x 52 Toro with a Habano wrapper and an all-Honduran core, it is a strong, collectable Gurkha cigar in Dubai.
Profile: Full
Ours lights with a lively Habano wrapper that burns with a clean, sharp line. The first third is brisk and firm, the Honduran binder and filler giving the smoke a dense, earthy weight without any heaviness on the draw. In the middle the strength builds and the smoke turns broad and full. The 52 ring keeps the delivery precise. The last third is strong and long, to be enjoyed slowly at the end of an evening.
Oscar Valladares built this Year of the Snake in Honduras for Gurkha's three-maker collection: a Habano wrapper over a Honduran binder and Honduran filler, rated strong.
