The Connossieur No. 2 is a 134 mm cigar at 51 ring in the Bohemios vitola, the larger companion to H. Upmann's Connossieur No. 1. We hold it in boxes of 25 at our boutique, a refined, lighter voice among cuban cigars in Dubai.
Profile: Mild to medium (Habanos rating: Light to Medium)
Flavour Notes: Floral notes, wood, tangy orange peel, apple cider, chocolate and nougat, as published by Cigar Aficionado (April 2026).
How It Smokes: The first third is floral and woody, with a tangy orange peel note that brightens the opening. Through the middle, apple cider adds a crisp, fruity sweetness while the wood keeps its shape. The final third rounds into chocolate and nougat, a soft confectionery finish. Habanos rates the brand light to medium, and the 51 ring gives an easy, generous draw that suits the gentle profile.
Blend Details: Herman Upmann, a German banker, settled in Havana in 1844 and founded both a bank and a cigar factory there. The bank closed; the cigars endured. H. Upmann is totally handmade with long filler from Vuelta Abajo leaves, and the gold medals on its boxes come from eleven nineteenth-century international fairs.
