The La Aurora 100 Años Robusto belongs to La Aurora's Anniversary Editions and celebrates a century of the house. It is a 100% Dominican cigar, from its Corojo wrapper to its filler, and one of the most composed Dominican cigars in our Downtown Dubai humidor.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Wood, leather and almond, with honey, florals and the bitter sweetness of cocoa.
Ours opens on wood and leather, with an almond note right behind. In the first third a subtle honey sweetness rounds the edges. The middle brings florals and the bitter-sweet character of cocoa, and the body settles at medium to full. The balance between sweet and bitter is the point of this cigar, and it holds that balance to the end. In the Robusto the arc is compact and the flavours arrive a little sooner, which suits a shorter evening.
Part of the Anniversary Editions collection, created to mark 100 years of La Aurora. Dominican Corojo wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican filler, rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic. More from the house in our La Aurora collection.
