The La Aurora 115 Aniversario is a limited edition created for the 115th anniversary of the house. Among La Aurora cigars in Dubai it stands out for its evolving character: an elegant Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper on a 5 3/4 x 54 Toro that shifts and develops from start to finish.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Creamy aged wood, black pepper, cinnamon, roasted nuts and citrus.
Ours opens on creamy aged wood with a light dusting of black pepper. In the first third cinnamon warms the aroma and the texture stays soft. The middle brings roasted nuts forward and the body builds to medium to full, with the pepper returning in measured steps. A bright citrus note appears toward the final third and keeps the finish lively. It is a cigar that keeps changing, so we give it our full attention.
First released in 2019 to mark 115 years of La Aurora, the Aniversario sets an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Brazilian binder, with Dominican, Brazilian and Nicaraguan filler. It is rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic, and Halfwheel scored it 92. See more anniversary blends in our La Aurora collection.
