The La Aurora 115 Aniversario Robusto was made for 115 years of La Aurora, part of the Anniversary Editions collection. Among the La Aurora cigars in our Downtown Dubai humidor, it is the one built around aged wood and a slow, building finish.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Black pepper, cinnamon and tropical fruit, caramel in the aroma, creamy aged wood, then nuts and citrus.
Ours starts with black pepper and cinnamon, with a tropical fruit note behind them. Caramel rises in the aroma through the first third and adds a rich sweetness. In the middle a creamy aged wood runs through everything, the thread that holds the cigar together. The finish grows more powerful, with nuts and a little citrus arriving at the end. In the Robusto the arc is compact and the flavours arrive a little sooner, which suits a shorter evening.
Created for La Aurora's 115th anniversary as part of the Anniversary Editions. An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Brazilian binder, with Dominican, Nicaraguan and Brazilian filler, rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic. More from the house in our La Aurora collection.
