The La Aurora 1962 Corojo Toro is an Original Blends release honouring 1962, the year the house first used a Corojo wrapper. Among La Aurora cigars in Dubai, it is a medium-bodied Toro with old-world balance, and one of the clearest ways to taste Dominican Corojo.
Profile: Medium
Flavour Notes: Cedar, roasted nuts, earth and pepper, with floral and leather accents and a gently sweet finish.
Ours opens on cedar and roasted nuts, with a mild pepper on the tongue. Through the first third an earthy base settles in beneath. In the middle a floral note lifts the aroma and a supple leather adds texture, all at an even medium strength. The final third stays poised, and a gentle sweetness closes the smoke. It suits an afternoon or the first cigar of the evening.
Part of La Aurora's Original Blends, the 1962 Corojo uses a Dominican Corojo wrapper grown in the Cibao Valley over an Ecuadorian binder, with Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. It is rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic. Explore the other Original Blends in our La Aurora collection.
