The La Aurora Guillermo León Corona Gorda is the cigar Guillermo León, grandson of La Aurora's founder, smokes every day, made with a double binder for strength and sweetness in balance. It is a Family Reserve blend we keep for clients in Dubai who want a fuller La Aurora with real depth.
Profile: Medium to Full
Flavour Notes: Pepper, coffee cream and cocoa, then leather and cedar through the finish.
Ours starts with pepper on the tongue, quick and lively, while the reddish, oily Habano leaf lays down coffee with a touch of cream. Cocoa arrives in the second third and rounds the edges. The Corona Gorda is the elegant middle ground, slim enough to keep the flavours precise and long enough to let them change. Leather and cedar take the finish, dry and long, and the pepper never quite leaves.
Guillermo León's personal blend in La Aurora's Family Reserve wraps an Ecuadorian Habano leaf around a double binder of Dominican and Cameroon tobacco, over a filler from the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Nicaragua. It is rolled by hand in the Dominican Republic and boxed in 20s.
Reserve this cigar online, on WhatsApp or by phone, then collect and pay at our boutique at Yansoon 9, Downtown Dubai. We check ID at collection.
