Habanos created Línea Open in 2009 for smokers who enjoy the outdoors, and the Master is its robusto. Sealed in an aluminium tube, it travels well to the terrace, the golf course or the deck of a yacht. It shows an easygoing side of cuban cigars in Dubai, and we hold it at our boutique in the case of three tubes.
Profile: Medium, as rated by Habanos. Each cigar is sealed in an aluminium tube.
Flavour Notes: Habanos rates Línea Open at medium strength and describes the line as conceived for open spaces. Vitola-specific flavour notes are not published.
How It Smokes: We read the Master as Habanos positions it: a lighter Montecristo for open air. The first third is approachable and aromatic, the 50 ring giving a cool, easy draw. The middle keeps a steady medium intensity, so the flavour holds up in a breeze without tipping into heaviness. The finish stays even. Habanos does not publish a detailed flavour note for this vitola, so we describe the profile and leave specific flavours unnamed.
Blend Details: Línea Open launched with four vitolas, Eagle, Master, Regata and Junior, and was later extended with Slam. The Master uses the Robustos factory format, 50 ring by 124 mm, and here comes in an aluminium tube. It is made totally by hand with long filler from Vuelta Abajo.
Reserve this cigar online, on WhatsApp or by phone, then collect and pay at our boutique at Yansoon 9, Downtown Dubai. We check ID at collection.
The Open Master Tubos measures 124 mm long with a 50 ring gauge, about 4.88 inches by 50, in the Robustos factory format.
