The Serie D No. 4 is the robusto that many smokers associate first with Partagás, and its Reserva was the first Habanos ever made in that concept. It shows the brand's intense, rich character in a balanced format. A cornerstone of cuban cigars in Dubai, it is held at our boutique in the Semi Boite Nature box of 25.
Profile: Full, as rated by Habanos.
Flavour Notes: Habanos describes Partagás for its intense flavour, richness and aroma. The vitolario lists the Serie D No. 4 as full strength. Vitola-specific notes are not published.
How It Smokes: We read the Serie D No. 4 through the Partagás profile Habanos publishes. The first third is bold and aromatic, with the 50 ring giving a full, even draw. Through the middle, the richness of the blend builds and the cigar finds its balance between intensity and aroma. The final third carries full strength with a long, deep finish. Habanos does not publish a separate flavour note for this vitola, so we keep to the character the brand describes.
Blend Details: The Serie D No. 4 uses the Robustos factory format, 50 ring by 124 mm. Habanos names it among the signature Partagás vitolas, and its Reserva was the first in the Habanos portfolio. The blend is selected Vuelta Abajo tobacco, made totally by hand with long filler.
