The Piramide gives Carlito Fuente's Cameroon blend a tapered head that focuses the first draws. For lovers of a pointed cigar, it is one of the premium cigars in Dubai we recommend from God of Fire.
Profile: Prometheus does not publish a strength rating for this cigar.
Flavour Notes: Prometheus does not publish detailed notes. Halfwheel's review of another By Carlito size describes baking spices and a cappuccino-like creaminess early, then cedar, black pepper and red chili flakes with a light syrup sweetness.
How It Smokes: Reading from halfwheel's notes on this blend, the first third should come through concentrated: baking spice and a creamy edge, sharpened by the narrow head. As the taper opens, cedar and wood fill out the middle and black pepper arrives with a soft sweetness. The final third brings chili and cedar to the front and peaks near the band. A modest cut at the point keeps the draw measured.
Blend Details: God of Fire is the collaboration between Prometheus and the Fuente family. The By Carlito blend carries the name of Carlito Fuente, who blended it, and wraps Dominican binder and filler, aged around three years, in Cameroon leaf. Each box of ten is individually numbered and made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic.
