Prometheus God of Fire Serie B Double Robusto Tubo (5 3/4 x 52)

Size: 5 3/4 x 52
Shape: Double Robusto, in a tube
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf, maduro
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic
Country of Origin: Dominican Republic, made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia.

Profile: Prometheus does not publish a strength rating for this cigar.

Flavour Notes: Prometheus does not publish detailed notes. Halfwheel's Serie B Gran Toro review describes cocoa, leather, wood and a raisin-like sweetness, then espresso, cedar and black pepper, finishing creamier with the fruit retained.

How It Smokes: Using halfwheel's Broadleaf Serie B notes as our guide, the first third opens with a light spice on the lips, cocoa, leather and wood, and a raisin-like sweetness. The middle moves to espresso and cocoa with cedar and a black pepper retrohale. The final third becomes creamier and keeps its fruit. Take it out of the tube a few minutes before lighting so the wrapper can breathe.

Blend Details: Serie B comes in two wrapper versions over the same Dominican binder and filler; this size uses the Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. It is made by the Fuente family at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic and released by Prometheus in numbered boxes of ten.
