The SD800 is Raching's double-door cabinet in a wooden shell: two independent compartments behind two glass doors, each configurable as a humidor zone or a wine zone. The humidor zones run water cooling and Spanish cedar shelves; the wine zones run their own temperature on beech shelves. One cabinet, 120 centimetres wide, can hold a serious collection of boxes, or boxes on one side and bottles on the other.
Details: The SD800 has a 380 L cigar area for 2000 cigars and a 380 L wine area for 130 bottles, on 16 shelves and measures 120 x 61 x 192 cm. One compartment is a humidor zone at 16 to 22 degrees and 60 to 75 percent humidity on Spanish cedar; the other is a wine zone at 5 to 18 degrees on beech shelves. Each side has its own controls. Ammonia removal is fitted: a filter stage scrubs the ammonia that aging tobacco releases, so the air inside stays clean and the flavours of different boxes do not bleed into one another. This is the Gold finish of the wooden shell. Each door has its own compressor and controls, so the two sides never share air. A humidor zone holds 16 to 22 degrees and 60 to 75 percent humidity; a wine zone holds 5 to 18 degrees for reds, whites and sparkling. With ammonia removal fitted, the humidor side also scrubs the air as the collection ages. Raching covers the compressors for six years and the cabinet for two.
Our team also plans walk-in humidors and cabinet installations for lounges, hotels and private homes across the UAE.

No. The humidor zone and the wine zone are separate compartments with separate controls, so the humidity of one never reaches the other.
Yes. The humidifier runs on pure or distilled water, which you add to the tank; the circulating water system means it is not topped up every few days. Raching asks that the cabinet stands unplugged for 24 hours after delivery before it is switched on.
Aging tobacco releases ammonia. The removal stage filters it from the air inside the cabinet, so the collection keeps its own aroma and boxes do not take on each other's character.
