Habanos designed the Petit Churchills in 2012 for smokers who want the aromatic, balanced Romeo y Julieta flavour in about twenty minutes. It continues a family of vitolas named in honour of Winston Churchill, one of the brand's most devoted smokers. A neat introduction to cuban cigars in Dubai, it is held at our Downtown Dubai cigar house in the box of 25.

Flavour Notes: Habanos describes the Petit Churchills as aromatic and balanced, with excellent combustibility from its wide ring and moderate length, and a complete series of flavour nuances in around 20 minutes.
How It Smokes: Our reading follows the Habanos description. The first third is aromatic and quick to open, the 50 ring giving a full, easy draw. Through the short middle, the blend delivers its range of nuances without losing balance, and the burn stays even. The finish arrives in roughly twenty minutes, clean and still at medium strength. Habanos does not list individual flavours, so we describe the experience rather than name them.
Blend Details: Petit Churchills uses the Petit Robustos factory format, 50 ring by 102 mm. It follows the Churchills and Short Churchills in a line of vitolas named after Winston Churchill, who visited Havana in 1946. Filler and binder come from Vuelta Abajo; made totally by hand with long filler.
