Petit Julietas is a delicate format, an Entreactos of 30 ring and 100 mm, named for the heroine of the play that gave the brand its name. It suits a brief interval, as the factory name suggests. For a light touch of cuban cigars in Dubai, our Downtown Dubai cigar house holds it in the box of 25.
Profile: Medium, as rated by Habanos.
Flavour Notes: Habanos describes Romeo y Julieta as the classic medium-flavoured Habano, balanced and aromatic. Vitola-specific notes are not published.
How It Smokes: Our reading follows the brand profile. The first third is quick and aromatic, the slim 30 ring giving a focused stream of smoke. The middle is short, holding the brand's balance at medium strength. The finish arrives quickly and stays clean. Habanos has not issued a dedicated flavour note for Petit Julietas, so we describe the format and character rather than name flavours.
Blend Details: Petit Julietas uses the Entreactos factory format, 30 ring by 100 mm. The brand name comes from Shakespeare's tragedy, and Romeo y Julieta has been a Habanos brand since 1875. Filler and binder come from Vuelta Abajo; made totally by hand with long filler.
