How It Smokes: Ours fires up quickly and goes straight to earth and dark wood, with black pepper sitting just behind. The short length means the blend is at full voice within minutes. The wide ring keeps the draw easy and the burn slow, so there is still a proper middle, where a touch of cocoa rounds things out. It finishes firm but clean, without bitterness.

Blend Details: Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper and Ecuadorian binder over a filler of Nicaraguan seco from Estelí, Condega and Ometepe, Dominican ligero and Colombian volado. Handmade by Tabanero, a Tampa brand.
