The Vigía Tubos places the short, broad Torres vitola of Trinidad in an aluminium tube, which keeps each cigar protected for travel, a round of golf or an evening away from the humidor. It is the same 54 ring format with the brand's pigtail cap. Our boutique presents it in the pack of three tubes for those who carry their cuban cigars in Dubai.
Profile: Medium (Habanos brand strength).
Flavour Notes: Buttery wood and crushed almond, with hints of agave and anise and a slightly dry finish (Cigar Aficionado, tubo, 89 points).
How It Smokes: Our reading of the Vigía in tube opens buttery and woody, with crushed almond close behind. Through the middle, hints of agave and anise give the smoke a herbal sweetness that suits the compact size. The finish turns a little dry, so it pairs well with a glass of water or coffee. The pigtail cap is neat and the broad ring gives a full draw.
Blend Details: This is the Trinidad Vigía, the Torres vitola, presented in individual aluminium tubes. It is made in Cuba, totally by hand with long filler from Vuelta Abajo.
