Marcus Daniel Pichilingo in Dubai pairs a Dominican binder and filler with a choice of two wrappers: a Connecticut, mild to medium, and a Habano with more spice and body.

The line is compact by design, two wrappers in two sizes, which makes it easy to understand at a glance. Both formats are generous in ring gauge, so the draw is full and the smoke stays cool.

The 5 1/2 x 54 Doble Robusto suits a sitting of under an hour, while the 6 x 60 Toro Extra gives a longer, wider smoke of an hour or more. Choose the wrapper by your usual preference: Connecticut if you lean towards mild cigars, Habano if you enjoy pepper and wood. Reserving the Doble Robusto in both wrappers is a simple way to taste the contrast.

See the whole house in Marcus Daniel. Other Dominican blends sit in Dominican cigars, and the Kiev Cloud Grown line gives a Dominican core under Connecticut in more sizes. Habanora keeps Pichilingo in its humidor.
