Tabanero Patriarch is the most composed blend in the house: an oscuro Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder, box-pressed in three sizes. Cedar and spice open the smoke, with leather and toast as it settles.

The three sizes are the Patriarch Robusto Box Pressed (5 x 50), the Patriarch Double Robusto Box Pressed (6.5 x 54) and the Patriarch Torpedo Box Pressed (6.5 x 54). The two longer cigars share the same length and ring; the difference is the head, round on the double robusto and tapered on the torpedo.

Start with the robusto if you want to meet the blend in about an hour. For an evening, choose between the two long sizes by the draw you prefer: the double robusto gives an open, even draw, while the torpedo's pointed head concentrates the first third. The squared press keeps the burn steady and the cigar comfortable in the hand.
