Mexican filler cigars in Dubai are a small group in our humidor: cigars whose filler, the core of the blend that carries most of its body and flavour, includes leaf grown in Mexico. Two cigars sit here today, both from the American-market lines of those brand names, made outside Cuba for the US market.

They are very different smokes, so choose by occasion. The Cohiba Black in its aluminium tube is a 6 x 60 Oscuro Gigante: a wide ring gauge under a dark oscuro wrapper, made for a long, slow sitting, and the tube keeps it protected in a jacket or a travel bag. The Macanudo Cafe Robusto is the opposite in pace, a shorter cigar that suits a coffee or a break in the afternoon. Mexican leaf is known for an earthy, dark character, but the final profile depends on the whole cigar, so compare wrapper and size on each product page.
