Casdagli

Casdagli cigars in Dubai tell a family story in tobacco, and Habanora holds three of the house's lines, made in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Daughters of the Wind takes its name from a sixth-century Arabian poem about Bedouin horses, a tribute to the Sheykh Obeyd stables near Cairo where the Casdagli family bred Arabian racehorses. It comes as the Cremello Lancero (7.5 x 39), Dahman Toro (7.1 x 56), Sabino Figurado (6.2 x 60-58) and Rabicano Salomone (7.3 x 57-50). Cypher 3311, launched in 2022, is named for Major A.T. Casdagli's prisoner number: the Boniface (5 x 54), the Needle Box-Pressed Churchill (7 x 48) and the Lorenz Diademas (9.2 x 58). Both lines are made at IGM Cigars in San José, Costa Rica. The Traditional Line 25 Aniversario Double Corona (7.5 x 52) is made in the Dominican Republic.

Choose by time and shape. The Boniface suits a shorter sitting, the Cremello Lancero gives a slim, wrapper-forward smoke, and the Lorenz Diademas or the Double Corona belong to a long evening. To compare formats, see double corona cigars and lancero cigars, or look across to Padrón cigars.
